Bishop Abraham Isaac Jacob Swanson 12th
June 30~July 6, 2010
He came to Cincinnati in 1944. His radio broadcast aired on 1480 WCIN for more than 40 years. He was known as the "Little Preacher with the Big Smile". He impacted many lives, set many trends; a legacy that will live.
He took his last breath at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash in the presence of his youngest daughter Raphaela "Rae" Swanson, who took care of him as well.
The BibleWay COGIC, this city, and the nation has lost a great man of God. He changed many lives with these words, "I don't care who you are; whether you live in an exclusive neighborhood, in a nice house, or in the ghetto. I don't care if you live in a garbage can. Wherever you live and whomever you are, I love you. You can say 'Lil Abraham loves me and he thinks I'm somebody.' You are somebody, 'cause God don't make no junk. Stand your ground, keep the faith, and hold on until reinforcement comes. I'm signing off, but I'll see you in the morning."
For more than 40 years, at 6 a.m. he signed off that way. He left us this day at that exact hour signing off his final farewell.
We will see you in the morning Dr. Abraham Isaac Jacob Swanson, 12th
