| I have so many fond memories of Eld. Swanson. I can remember at the age of two, when the church moved from Beecher St, walking down the ailse with my mother holding my hand in the new building at 3231 Woodburn Ave. Elder was standing in the pulpit, he stood so stately and proud. I remember that through the years he was the most innovative man that I ever encountered. From miracles, entrepreneurship, broadcasting, production genius as in the Easter
sunrise service and the Devils funeral when you looked into the casket he had placed a mirror and you saw yourself. He was an social advocate. We were the first church to have Operation Bread Basket in conjunction with SCLC and Operation Push. There were so many firsts under the leadership of this great man,it would take an epic with inumerous volumes to chronologicalize. He truly made an impact on this world. He will truly be missed.

Take the time to exam yourself before you start to pass judgement on others. Why don't you consuld Exodus 20:14. While you dig one ditch be sure to dig one for yourself
