iPhones, Galaxy Notes, Google Pixel, the ads are everywhere . Many consumer cell phones can do some damage to your wallet, although these phones are highly sought after, they may not be a wise choice for someone planning to budget their expenses. So how do you find a phone that’s inexpensive, but not so terrible that it causes you to regret you didn’t fork over a couple of bucks to get something better? You ask someone who’s already made that mistake. And boy, have I made my share of mistakes. So Lets take a peak at the LeEco Le S3, undeniably the best phone I’ve ever had.
When I see other reviews on budget phones, the first thing they generally do is compare the phone to the likes of an iPhone or top notched Samsung. But budget minded consumers are intelligent, and understand they’re not purchasing an $800 iPhone. They simply want a device, within they’re price range, with all the features they need, and hopefully some extra bells and whistles to sweeten the deal. Something we called in my day, “ the best bang for the buck”
The LeEco Le S3 is all that and a bag of chips.
At first glance the Le S3 sports a simple yet lovely design, but upon picking it up, the first thing you notice is that the body is made of metal. Yeahp that’s right, It sports an aluminum body that feels nice and rugged in the hands. The phone also has a nice weight to it at 5.4 oz, it feels like an expensive phone.
The screen is 5.5 inches of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, with multitouch technology. An 8 Megapixel front facing selfie camera, and a 16 Megapixel rear camera capable of 4K video and slow motion video at 720P, yeahp, slow motion.
Under the hood the S3 boasts a Qualcomm Octa Core processor, 32 GB of internal memory and 3 GB of ram. Supports dual band wifi, hotspot capable, Bluetooth, GPS, Infra-red. (control your tv), and a great loud speaker on the bottom.
Sorry to say this phone does not have a 3.5mm earphone jack, but does come with a USB Type C adapter to plug a 3.5mm earphone jack. A rear mounted fingerprint sensor for easy turn on of the screen and don’t let me forget a rear flash
The S3 is fluid and responsive, great for work and play. The screen is easily visible outdoors, a top notch for the money.
